Town Planner Job in Wiltshire

I currently have a Town Planner Job available for my client who are one of the UK's largest house builders. The client is looking to speak to Town Planners with experience ideally from a house builder or someone from a consultancy with volume housebuilding experience.

As the successful Town Planner, you'll be working closely with the Land & Planning Director and the wider land and technical team on land opportunities across Wiltshire, Cotswolds and South Oxfordshire. As the successful candidate, you'll have previous experience with immediate land opportunities in the region, this position doesn't involve strategic land.

Role & Responsibilities

- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Give advice on planning matters
- Assess the land development against the company criteria
- Attend internal and external meetings throughout the planning process
- Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
- Support the Land & Planning Director.

Required Skills & Experience

- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
- Experienced with planning for residential developments
- Ideally 2+ years in Town Planning.
