Brickwork Trainer

Job Description

Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a brickwork trainer within the South Yorkshire region. This role will mainly be undertaking reviews, assessments and keeping learners on track. Candidates will be based officially at the college site but will spend most of their time doing visits.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate and knowledgeable about brickwork and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry background in brickwork, experience of training and assessing students, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.

Role responsibilities
*To manage and monitor the progress of a caseload of learners, organise workplace assessment visits and provide a point of proactive and regular contact with employers.
*Produce and monitor individual training plans for learners and contribute to their updating, encompassing all elements of the delivery programme.
*To conduct work based assessments and internal verification in line with Awarding Body requirements.

The person & qualifications
*Must have a recognised teaching qualification or (willing to work towards)
*Hold an Assessors qualification
*Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in Brickwork
*Industry experience within Brickwork or a related field
