£160m opportunity for Northampton contractor

5 Oct 16 Northampton Partnership Homes (NPH) has begun a procurement competition to find a construction contractor to take on up to £160m of capital works over the next eight to 10 years.

Work includes housing refurbishment and improvement works, roofing, joinery, decorating and landscaping. The total value of work to be placed with the appointed contractor is estimated to be between £14m and £16m per year.

Northampton Partnership Homes is an arms-length management organisation (ALMO) that is responsible for managing the provision of all the housing services of Northampton Borough Council. It is owned by the council.

The contract will be awarded to a single contractor under the NEC ECC form of contract.
