A consortium of East Midlands housing associations is looking for contractors to join a new build framework agreement.

The four-year contract is estimated to be worth between £150m and £200m.

Nottingham Community Housing Association is acting as the procuring authority on behalf of up to 16 other housing groups.

The work will be spread across the counties of: Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Warwickshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk, South Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Humberside, Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire.

A maximum of 50 participants will be invited to join the framework agreement.

The work covers the design and/or construction, conversion, completion and commissioning of mixed-use housing developments.

Work under the framework arrangement may also include the development of related community facilities, commercial facilities on individual projects and associated infrastructure works.

Projects will be divided into two different value bands: less than £1m; and above £1m. However, framework participants may be selected to work across both bands.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 16 July.
