The Shinfield Eastern Relief Road and M4 overbridge are being procured on behalf of the South of M4 Consortium, which includes the university, house-builder Taylor Wimpey UK and BDW Trading.
The contract is due to be awarded in January 2014 with construction starting in January 2015.
