An Afghanistan national has died after crashing an excavator on a waste and recycling site in Blackburn, Lancashire.
The man suffered serious head injuries following the accident earlier this week, according to The Citizen.
He was operating a Bobcat excavator when the incident took place.
Inspector Mick Johnson from Lancashire Police told the newspaper: “There was a fatal industrial accident at a unit in Lower Hollin Bank Street.
“Police have attended the unit and the Health and Safety Executive will be conducting a joint investigation with CID officers.”
