Bam Construction has won a contract to build a new energy research facility for the University of Leeds on its main city centre campus.
The design-and-build project will deliver state-of-the-art energy research laboratories and academic offices together with a central atrium.
The new building and laboratories will underpin energy research in several key areas, including alternative energy systems, energy from biomass, energy materials, aviation, environment, fuel cell research, hydrogen energy, and energy recycling from waste.
Bam beat off competition from five other bidders.
