Gosport Borough Council in Hampshire wants contractors to bid for a mammoth £150m repairs and maintenance framework.
The 10-year contract, with the option to extend for a further five years, covers work across 3,220 council properties and 36,182 dwellings within the borough.
Services included are: responsive repairs; voids; gas servicing and breakdown repairs; decent homes and planned works; cyclical works; external grounds maintenance, cleaning and street scene cleaning; refuse waste and environmental services.
The contract may be awarded to a single contractor, or broken into four lots covering:
- Asset management services to all council-owned buildings,
- Environmental and streetscene services,
- Grounds maintenance services,
- Gas servicing and breakdowns.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 8 October.
