Carillion appointed construction delivery partner by Durham council

Carillion has been appointed as Durham County Council's sole construction delivery partner for civil engineering.

The contractor will work as part of an integrated team to manage and deliver the council's construction programme.

The scope of work will include roadworks, bridges and highway structures, landscaping and street lighting.

Carillion was one of 10 bidders for the role.
