Ealing seeks contractors for £45m housing contract

The London Borough of Ealing wants contractors to bid for two places on a five-year housing repairs and maintenance framework.

The contract covers 18,000 homes, comprising houses, blocks of dwellings, communal block and estate areas, sheltered housing, and hostels. Additionally, community centres and a small number of commercial properties owned and managed by the council will be bundled into the deal.

Some planned maintenance works will also be included, along with works to void and occupied properties, plus out of hours emergency work.

The contract has been split into two lots covering the east and west of the borough, but Ealing will not award both lots to the same contractor.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 16 September.
