Interserve has been appointed by Coventry City Council as partnering contractor for construction work on primary schools in the City.
The £8m contract is part of the council's programme for increasing primary school places in the city from 2011.
Interserve will carry out extensions and remodelling works to existing primary schools within Coventry.
The firm saw off five other firms to clinch the deal.
