Crossrail has announced a shortlist of six construction firms for C272, the Paddington Integrated Project.
The following companies have been invited to tender::
- BAM Nuttall
- Bovis Lend Lease
- Carillion Capital Projects
- Laing O'Rourke
- Morgan Est
- Vinci Construction UK
The work involves construction of a shell and core for a relocated Hammersmith & City Line tube station, plus resurfacing and construction of a roof structure, installation of lifts and escalators, a new taxi rank, and work for Network Rail on the main railway station
Crossrail will run 118 km from Maidenhead and Heathrow in the west, through new twin-bore 21 km tunnels under central London to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.
