Vinci Construction has won a £10m contract to build a medical education centre for Cardiff University.
The site on the Heath Campus is currently occupied by an existing building and it is likely that an advance works contract will be let for demolition and site clearance.
The contract will be let on the JCT design and build form.
It is likely that the design team will be novated to the contractor for the construction stage of the project.
The construction programme is scheduled to complete in May 2011.
