Vinci Construction UK has been awarded an £8.3m contract to refurbish Heathrow’s Terminal 3 baggage and immigration hall.
The project be phased over several months and involves extensive passenger and third party interfaces.
Andrew Ridley-Barker, Vinci’s air division managing director said: “We are looking forward to building on our relationship with BAA and providing world-class facilities with the minimum of disruption, enabling passengers to enjoy their journeys.”
Vinci has also worked on the construction of Heathrow Terminal 4, the airport's Piccadilly Underground Station, Heathrow Express Rail Link, and recently, the £100m refurbishment of Terminal 4.
