Willmott Dixon has been awarded the construction contract for a new £11.5m leisure centre in Rochdale.
The facility will include a 25m swimming pool, changing village, gym, sports hall and community facilities.
It will be built on the site of an existing leisure centre to north of the River Roch, which also includes a disused council depot and a waste transfer station.
The design and construction contract includes associated external works.
