Projectbureau ZuidasDok has confirmed that it intends to award the ZuidasDok engineering contract to Arcadis and Witteveen+Bos, supported by the consultancy AT Osborne. It is a framework agreement for a period of six years for plan development and preparatory work for the realisation of the ZuidasDok project.
The group’s first assignments consist of design, planning procedures and project management for a period of 18 months. The total contract value for this period is approximately €7m (£6m), €5m of which will go to Arcadis.
Project ZuidasDok concerns the expansion of road capacity over a length of more than 5km and taking highway A10 underground in the vicinity of the Zuidas.
