The five-axle, 250-tonne capacity machines are working on projects across the UK, including tower crane erection in London.

David Nash, small cranes director at Baldwins Crane Hire, said the company chose the GMK5250L for its 70-metre boom and its suitability to a wide variety of jobs.

“One of the main reasons we purchased this crane was because it offers one of the longest booms in its class and it’s easy to manoeuvre, making it well-suited to work on a variety of jobsites,” he said.

The GMK5250L also has a 37-metre luffing jib extension.
