Balfour Beatty will manage construction of three interlinking buildings spanning more than 20,000 sqm.

The buildings will house teaching facilities and classrooms for students, staff and corporate clients.

Once complete, the £220m campus will bring together approximately 4,500 school pupils and college students from Fife College, St Columba’s RC High School and Woodmill High School.

Bam is building the new high school parts of the campus and started work back in September 2021.

Balfour Beatty starts main construction this month. At peak construction, it will employ approximately 400 people on site, of whom at least half must be locals, under the terms of its contract.

Hector MacAulay, managing director of Balfour Beatty’s regional business in Scotland, said that winning the contract was “testament to our significant experience and expertise in delivering further education projects in Scotland”.
