BAM Contractors of Ireland will work alongside the international business on the project, which includes channel dredging, reclamation works, shore protection and construction of a causeway, heliport and pontoons. The construction also involves an additional offshore cluster including boat quay, pontoon and heliport.
The work is for the third phase of the Al-Dabbiya oil field development by client Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations. BAM expects to complete the project in September 2015.
