B&ES elects new president

Mr Bisset takes over from Sue Sharp of Overclean who steps down to become immediate past president.

Andy Sneyd of Crown House Technologies becomes president-elect, and Jim Marner of Shepherd Engineering Services is the new vice president.

Mr Bisset joined Galloway (Mechanical Services) Ltd, Dundee, in 1975 as a trainee surveyor. He rose through the company to senior estimator and is now Galloway Group’s business development director for Scotland and for special projects UK-wide.

He has been a member of the executive committee of B&ES Scotland for nine years, and was chairman for two years from 2006. He became a member of council the following year. He has also served on the Scottish contracts committee since 2006.
