Darren Miller joined Beard in 2006 as commercial manager for the firm’s Swindon operations. Before this, he was a managing surveyor for Mansell, now part of Balfour Beatty.
“With over 30 years’ experience in commercial management and an excellent delivery track record in Beard, I am confident that Darren will add significant value to the business and our leadership team,” said managing director David Sershall.
Darren Miller himself said: “I’m looking forward to using my commercial and contractual expertise in this challenging new role and providing support and guidance to our regional teams. I want to focus on maximizing Beard’s commercial opportunities, building on our great relationships with our customers and suppliers, and helping to ensure the group delivers a consistently strong business performance.”
