The scheme will provide a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses, as well as public open space and a play area. Financial contributions will also be made towards local education facilities, green infrastructure and community centres.
The site at Chellaston, which straddles the boundaries of Derby and South Derbyshire, is identified for housing in both authorities’ local plans.
