Chepstow Construction Equipment has supplied Bison Plant Hire with five Kubota U55-4 (5.5-tonne) machines and three of the U27-4 (2.6-tonne) model. The new zero tail swing diggers will be based at Bison’s main depot in Cirencester.

Bison has subsequently put in an order in for two more Kubotas, which will bring its Kubota fleet to 54 machines.

Chepstow sales director Ian Whiting said: “This deal came about following a significant increase of customer demand for construction machinery, so we’re pleased to see our working relationship go from strength to strength.

“Bison has grown significantly over the past few years and that’s credit to the performance of the Kubota machines, the aftersales service the guys at Bison offer to their customers and the support we provide as their dealer.”
