Blenheim lands £12m Wigmore Street scheme

20 Mar 15 Blenheim House Construction has won a £12m contract to redevelop of 71-77 Wigmore Street, London W1.

The project will create two large ground floor and basement units suitable for either retail or restaurant use and eight residential apartments above. Client is F&C Reit Asset Management.

The block is part of the St Christopher’s Place Estate. It will be redeveloped behind partially retained facades. All properties within the block will be increased in height to enable the development of apartments on the four upper floors which will be accessed via Wigmore Street.

Completion of works is planned for September 2016.

Joanne Wilkes, F&C Reit head of in-town retail, said: “The redevelopment will substantially improve the Wigmore Street frontage to St Christopher’s Place and enhance the link between Marylebone High Street and St Christopher’s Place. “
