The contract was signed in the presence of Russian deputy prime minister Arkady Dvorkovich and the prime minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte.
The project involves the reclamation of land for construction of the new Bronka port. A total volume of up to three million cubic meters sand will be dredged and reclaimed using trailer suction hopper dredgers to create approximately 85ha of new terminal area. The contract value is approximately €25m (£21m) and the project is expected to be completed in 2013.
