BP frameworks for Arcadis

9 Jul 13 Consulting engineer Arcadis has been selected for two global frameworks by BP, worth a combined fee income of up to £24m over the three-year duration of the contract.

The first framework is a managed service agreement, under which Arcadis will provide environmental services for the oil and gas giant, including auditing, remediation services, environmental permitting, water & waste management and impact assessment.

The second framework is also a managed service agreement and includes services for oil spill response planning, modelling and crisis management planning.  Both frameworks cover 44 countries, excluding North America.

Mark Howard, oil & gas sector upstream leader at Arcadis, said: "Environmental assurance and crisis preparedness are two of the most important operational matters facing oil and gas companies, and are issues that BP is leading the industry in taking a proactive response to.  It is testament to our market leading technical expertise, built on years of experience, in both environmental services and operational risk assessment that we are able to provide the quality and breadth of service that BP needs across the globe."
