The centre will enable students in the different trades to work together and follow each other through the construction process, mirroring real site conditions.
Sussex Architects HNW have designed the centre, Osborne will be building it and the works will be project-managed by Sussex consultancy NorthGates.
Demolition of old structures on the site starts in November and construction work will begin in January 2016. The centre is scheduled to be completed by March 2017.
