Cementation director moves to Aarsleff
Aarsleff Ground Engineering has appointed Neil Abbott as head of civil engineering & infrastructure.
Neil Abbott joins Aarsleff from Cementation Skanska where he was latterly operations director for London & major projects. His project experience includes motorway widening schemes, several sections of the Crossrail scheme, and Borough Viaduct and Bermondsey Dive Under on the Thameslink upgrade.
“I am looking forward to my new position as it brings fresh challenges as well as opportunities for Aarsleff,” he said. “I will be hitting the ground running and capitalising on Aarsleff’s already established piling and geotechnical reputation in other sectors and porting it to the infrastructure sector, communicating our expertise, products and service offering to key specifiers.”
Aarsleff managing director Chris Primett said: “Infrastructure presents so many opportunities for Aarsleff and I am confident that with Neil at the helm we will be able to capitalise on these to the full.”
