CH2M wins Denver airport contract

1 Jul 16 Denver International Airport in the USA has awarded CH2M a contract for a package of rehabilitation and improvement work.

The scope of the three-year project encompasses professional engineering support and technical services for enhancements including providing pavement evaluations, recommendations and phasing for the programme. Work includes replacing deteriorating apron pavements, mitigating apron drainage issues and ponding and preventing water infiltration into the concourse basements. CH2M will also be working on utility and infrastructure work, including the installation of a new drainage system, demolition of baggage tunnels and removal of deicing tanks.

A key factor will be coordinating construction activities with the airlines, concessionaires, airport management and ground transportation, to support ongoing flight operations.
