The machines joining Chepstow’s fleet include A25G to A40G articulated dump trucks, L45H to L250H wheeled loaders and EC220E to EC750E excavators.
Volvo branded machines now account for more than half of Chepstow’s fleet, said managing director John Corcoran. “It is a false economy to buy low-cost plant and equipment,” he said.
He added: “Working closely with our clients, we have seen a gradual shift in our fleet requirement towards the heavier end of the market,” he adds. “We are already running Volvo EC700 excavators and based on their performance, we’re looking forward to getting two new EC750s.”
