Civils contractors sought to share £250m highways framework

15 Sep 15 Hampshire County Council has put the call out for contractors to bid for a share of a £250m highway maintenance contract.

The Generation 3 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Infrastructure Works Framework runs from February 2016 for four years.

While Hampshire County Council is lead authority for the procurement process, the framework is available for use by 46 borough, district and county councils across the south of England.

The county council is looking for three contractors for the framework, who will take on individual projects typically valued at between £8m and £25m.

Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website (in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire) and submit a completed pre-qualification questionnaire by 12th October 2105.
