Structural steelwork specialist Severfield-Rowen has promoted Ian Cochrane to its board as chief operating officer, as of tomorrow (5 June 2013).
He replaces Peter Emerson, who is retiring.
Mr Cochrane is currently group operations director of Severfield-Rowen. He was previously managing director of Fisher Engineering, which Severfield-Rowen took over in 2007.
Executive chairman John Dodds said: "Ian has a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the steel fabrication sector which he brings to the board of Severfield-Rowen in his new appointment. I look forward to continuing to work closely with him in his new role of chief operating officer. I would also like to thank Peter for his significant contribution over many years to Severfield-Rowen and wish him happiness in his forthcoming retirement."
