Contractor fined for waste offences

The company pleaded guilty at Downpatrick Magistrates' Court to four waste offences, admitting that it had dumped 900 tonnes of waste concrete, brick, plastics, soil and stone without the necessary waste management licence or exemption.

The company was fined £250 for each of the four charges plus £74 court costs.
