Contractor sought for $110m Antarctic research station

The original Estação Comandante Ferraz was destroyed by fire in 2012 and its replacement is now being tendered.

The new station will have 14 laboratories, accommodate 64 people and have an area of 4,500 m². It will be powered by a combination of diesel, wind and solar energy.
