The project is part of a wider initiative by the county council to rationalise its property portfolio.
Construction of the new Carlisle offices is set to begin in May 2014 and is slated for completion by December 2015. The new building will be 5,000-6,000 m².
The project will include all associated external works and site infrastructure to support the development.
