Emmitt swells Kubota fleet

7 Aug 14 East Anglia’s Emmitt Plant has ordered 21 Kubota excavators from Essex-based dealer Hosplant Sales.

Emmitt’s order includes several of the new U27-4 zero tail-swing mini excavator as well as the 8-tonne KX080-4.

“We have worked with Kubota for over two decades and due to the reliability of the brand now own over 80 Kubota machines,” said Emmitt Plant managing director Ron Chidgey.

He added: “We normally update our plant on a yearly basis but I can see us revisiting this before the year is out due to sheer demand for equipment, something I’m not complaining about.”

Hosplant sales director Nigel Booley said: “Hosplant was awarded the Kubota franchise in 2011 and since working with the brand we have seen a steady increase in sales year on year.  The combination of quality machinery and excellent levels of customer service provided by our service department are ultimately resulting in repeat business. As a result we have been encouraged by the positive feedback from customers such as Emmitt Plant and look forward to building on these relationships in the future.”
