Graham to start core of Scottish crime campus

21 Dec 10 John Graham Dromore has been appointed to design and build the core and shell of Scotland's new £82m crime campus at Gartcosh.

Graham begins its £25m contract in February with completion scheduled for early 2012.

This is the second of three phases of the project. Sir Robert McAlpine began the first phase in June.

The Scottish Crime Campus will house Scottish Crime and Drug Enforcement Agency, Scottish Police Services Authority Forensic Service (Glasgow), Crown Office Procurator Fiscal Service, HM Revenue & Customs and the Serious Organised Crime Agency under one roof.

The campus was originally intended to house 800 people, but is now expected to accommodate over 1100 staff. It is expected to be fully occupied by mid-2013.
