The new fleet consists of:
- two Hydrema articulated dumper trucks;
- lime spreaders that are being specially built in Germany to GDL’s specification;
- new compaction equipment; and
- a further dozer and excavator to add to the existing fleet.
Ground Developments commercial director Kevin Mackenzie said: “Our latest investment in plant significantly demonstrates both our investment and our capability to provide our services throughout the UK. It also underpins our gradual expansion south of the Border, and follows the completion of specialist bulk earthworks and soil stabilisation techniques on high-profile projects across Scotland, and indeed the rest of the UK.”
