The VP subsidiary opened a depot in the Aberdeen suburb of Dyce last year and already needs significantly larger premises to cope with the growth to date. The new hub is being built on a one acre site at Mugiemoss.

The new larger warehousing facilities will be able to offer a wider range of products and equipment for hire. The new site also has office accommodation with meeting facilities that will be used to host industry seminars, training days and customer events.

Groundforce has also expanded its technical team in Scotland, having appointed Jonny MacNeil as technical representative in Aberdeen.

Groundforce Shorco regional sales director Richard Cherrie said: “This new location will enable us to further expand our product offering as well providing new additional services to our customers in the northeast of Scotland, whom we would like to thank for their continued support.”
