Hants merchant moves into Dorset
Hampshire builders’ merchant group Elliotts has expanded into neighbouring Dorset by opening a store in Christchurch.

The Christchurch store becomes Elliotts’ 13th branch.
Former football manager Harry Redknapp was brought in to cut the ribbon. “I have had a long friendship and association with Elliotts which was also a huge support to me and Bournemouth Football Club,” he said.
Founded in 1842, Elliotts is one of the oldest family businesses in the South. Elliotts also has builders’ merchant branches in Bishops Waltham, Chandler’s Ford, Fareham, Fordingbridge, Ringwood, Romsey, Southampton, Tadley and Totton as well as four kitchen and bathroom showrooms, two specialist tool centres open to the trade and public in Portsmouth and Winchester and its roofing and renewables companies.
