Hill will be providing on-call construction management, engineering analysis and programme improvement services statewide under the US$4m contract.
Services to be provided by Hill under the contract could include work such as evaluating construction engineering specifications, policies and processes; evaluating and providing recommendations for statewide strategies in recycling construction materials; carrying out market analysis on bidding trends; carrying out analysis in support of cost reductions.
"The Caltrans improvement programme will have a strong impact on the quality, efficiency and sustainability of their current construction activities statewide," said Frederic Samelian, president of Hill's construction claims group.
