HS2 construction purchasers hit the road again

13 Apr 16 The purchasing team of the £43bn HS2 high speed rail construction project is setting off on another roadshow to tell companies great and small how to win a slice of the action.

Starting in May, the HS2 supply chain roadshow will visit 11 regions across Britain to meet businesses, explain the work packages available and tell firms how to bid. It is a repeat of a similar exercise carried out last year.

HS2 Ltd commercial director Beth West said: “Building HS2 is a massive long-term project, one that offers a huge opportunity for British businesses to bid for billions of pounds worth of contracts.
