ESR Technology was previously the engineering, safety and risk division of AEA Technology which was formed from the commercial arm of the UK Atomic Energy Authority.
ESR is a specialist engineering, safety and risk consultant that operates in the oil and gas and utilities sectors and employs 94 people in the UK and Abu Dhabi.
The vendor was CIP Industries L.P. Inc., part of the private equity group Coller Capital.
