Hydrock said that QDS was renowned for its “leading edge innovation and technical excellence for the in-situ remediation of soils and groundwater”. This expertise, Hydrock said, would complement its own strengths in remediation.
QDS will operate as a separate trading division of Hydrock delivering specialist projects, but able to call upon Hydrock where extra support is required.
QDS’s offices in Guildford and Sheffield will be added to Hydrock’s existing office network.
Hydrock director Dr Mike Higgins said: “This is a great move for both Hydrock and QDS and their respective clients. We have an obvious synergy of innovation, technical excellence and a commitment to the highest health and safety standards.”
