Taking space at 40 St Paul’s Square will enable ISG to grow its team to support the company’s rapid regional growth, with recent highlights including the successful £24 million Gateway College relocation, the £8.3 million new Hinckley College campus scheme and £5.5 million Shrewsbury Music Hall redevelopment.
Leader of Birmingham City Council, Mike Whitby, was guest of honour at ISG’s recent launch event, and welcomed the company’s continued investment in the regional economy and drive to use local suppliers and businesses as a sustainable approach to project delivery. Mr Whitby also acknowledged ISG’s commitment to driving standards and best practice within the construction industry, as well as its support of industry skills training, with recent initiatives including direct involvement in the curriculum for students studying for the construction diploma at North Warwickshire & Hinckley College.
ISG’s Midland office is responsible for delivering projects across both the public and private sectors, ranging in value from £200K to over £30 million. Generating a high volume of repeat business, ISG can count Severn Trent and the Alternative Hotel Group as key clients and also works with a number of local authorities to deliver both fast track and major capital projects. The company successfully delivered the VILLAGE Hotel and Velocity Health & Fitness club in Solihull and is nearing completion on a £10.5 million project at City Technology College (CTC) Kingshurst Academy to build new educational facilities.
Jonathan Kell, ISG’s regional managing director, commented: "We have worked hard over the last seven years to establish ISG as a highly professional, trusted and innovative construction and fit out partner within the Midlands. Building strong and beneficial relationships with our clients is central to the business, as is the desire to become an integrated and valued part of the community, generating prosperity and opportunities for local people. Moving to superb new office facilities not only underlines our commitment to the region, but highlights our aspirations to further grow the business and expand the scope and scale of our operations.”
