Jacobs picked for Hong Kong mountain bike scheme

The contract covers detailed design and construction supervision for 6.3km network, which will connect the Mui Wo trailhead to a proposed training ground near Lai Chi Yuen Tsuen.

The network will also connect the Chi Ma Wan Mountain Bike Trail loop to Shap Long Chung Hau and join the two ends of Chi Ma Wan Mountain Bike Trail. In addition, there will be a place for bikers to gather at the entrance to a mountain bike trail proposed at Mui Wo Ferry Pier Road.

The consultancy agreement will last for about 33 months.
