Jacobs picked for Irish roads framework

20 Apr 16 Jacobs Engineering has won a four-year contract with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to provide multi-disciplinary services for the delivery of national roads projects.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing technical consultancy services under three framework agreements. The services span everything from minor improvement projects to larger programmes of work from inception, construction and handover, through to operation and maintenance. TII is the central purchasing body for the framework agreements.

Jacobs senior vice president buildings and infrastructure Bob Duff said: “We look forward to working closely with TII to support its priorities for achieving best value in the planning and delivery of Ireland’s infrastructure projects.”

Jacobs has worked with TII for several years and is currently also providing health and safety advisory services and inspections on major roadworks and traffic management sites, together with corporate support for occupational health and safety.
