JCB investment for Mechplant

4 Jul 13 Mechplant, the plant hire part of Esh Group, has invested in a fleet of new mini excavators and compaction rollers as part of a £3.5m fleet modernisation programme.

Mechplant has just taken delivery of JCB 8018, 8025, 8050 and 8085 mini and midi excavators along with VMT160-80 and VMT260-120 rollers. The machines have been bought from dealer TC Harrison JCB.

Joint managing director Steve Makinson said: “We are absolutely committed to providing our customers with the latest equipment and technologies available.  Many are in the utilities and construction sectors; the work they do is essential, underpins our regional infrastructure and has to continue.  To do that, they need the right tools for the job.”

Mechplant operates in the north of England from regional headquarters in Northumberland, Durham, Cumbria and Yorkshire.
