While all Jewson branches already offer basic civils and drainage products, specialist branches will now stock an enhanced range of civils products and materials from trade suppliers such as Wavin, Polypipe, FP McCann and ACO. Jewson has 43 of these specialist branches supplying civils contractors, ground workers and utility companies nationwide.
Products offered include: geosynthetics; concrete, clay, plastic and linear drainage; flexible couplings; ductile and steel covers; flags, kerbs and edging; ducting and access boxes; water management as well as damp proofing and barrier membranes.
Jewson has also invested in staff development to support the sales drive. Every Jewson civils branch has in-house civils specialist backed by regional civils development managers.
Sales director Adam Smith said: “Some customers may not know Jewson for civils but the message is clear: we have the specialist products, experienced staff and national distribution network to help ensure we provide a civils service that’s second to none.”
