Keepmoat wins Essex extra care scheme

4 Aug 16 Keepmoat has landed a £12m contract to build an extra care development in Saffron Walden.

The development comprises 73 new apartments to be built on Radwinter Road in Saffron Walden for East Thames Housing. The apartments will be available for rent from East Thames or available to part buy under a shared ownership scheme.

East Thames executive director Trevor Burns said: “Keepmoat has a wealth of experience in delivering extra care and retirement projects and we’re confident that they will support us to deliver a very high quality product.”

The development is due to be completed by winter 2016.
